                        Is this you?

Read through a few of these questions...

Hitters
  • Are you confused by the different hitting "styles" or "philosophies" your well-meaning coaches are teaching you?
  • Do you hit too many routine ground balls to the "pull" side (SS-3B area) for Right handed hitters and (1B-2B area) for Left handed hitters?
  • Do you pop-up pitches you think you should krush?
  • Do you swing at tough pitches to hit (Curve-balls in the dirt/fastballs in the eyes) and sometimes lock up and take good pitches to hit?
  • Do you struggle to hit balls hard to the opposite field?
  • Do you know the commonalities of ALL exceptional hitters?
  • Do you think that you have not maximized your offensive potential?
  • Do you know the difference between linear and rotational hitting?
  • Are you maximizing your given athletic abilities?
  • Do you train your visual skills and mental approach as well as you train your swing?
  • Do you have a plan at the plate?
  • Do you know what MLB hitters do to prepare themselves?
  • Do you have a plan to hit off-speed pitches?

Coaches
  • With so many different theories out there, are you confused about what to teach your hitters?
  • Do you have a structured hitting practice routine has proven to really help the kids develop?
  • Do you have a quality resource to go to for answers?
  • Do you teach a "fact-based" hitting "style" or do you teach what has been passed down and widely accepted as the best way?
  • Do you know the difference between linear and rotational hitting? Is it important to know? Does it really exist? Are hitters strictly one or the other?
  • Do you want to be a better coach than you are right now?
  • Do you know the commonalities that all exceptional hitters share?
  • Do you know what MLB hitters do to prepare themselves?
  • Do you teach much in the way of mental and visual skills?
  • Do you have an effective way of teaching the hitters to hit off-speed pitches such as curve balls and change ups?

... "It would be very naive to say that we have all the answers... we certainly do not. But when you are as fortunate as we are and have the time and resources that we do... we better be good at what we do, and we try."
